Many people pull amateurs because they want to win a medal.
Why lose to a pro, when you can can beat the weak and/or new people to the
sport?

Hoffman and I pulled amateur AND pro. I dont know his reasoning but i
havent gotten first in an COMPETITIVE amateur class yet, so i am pulling
both. Once i win an amateur event i will move to open only.
